The 2024-2025 Seasons.

Wedding Pricing

$4500

This is a full day with no hourly limits. Every wedding is different. Every story is different. I show up when it starts and leave when it ends. Usually that means around I arrive about 2 hours before the ceremony (or first look) and leave after the last dance. My goal is for you to enjoy the day from start to finish and not be a source of stress for you at any point. No racing to get the cake cut because the photographer is leaving soon. Nothing missed, nothing nothing rushed.

This includes a second photographer to make sure no stone is left unturned and give me the space to be creative at certain junctions of the day while making sure the basics are handled.

Around 6-10 weeks after the wedding, you’ll receive an online gallery with high resolution images available for digital download.

 FAQs

  • I’m here to make you feel as comfortable as possible. We’ll start with a zoom chat to get to know each other and make sure it’s the right fit. After you talk it over with your partner and family, we’ll handle the contract and retainer payment and the date is yours.

  • There is a $1000 retainer and the balance is due a week before the wedding.

  • 99% of the weddings it is my good friend, Mat. He’s worked with me since 2013 and is a great asset to me. On the occasions Mat has his own wedding to shoot or needs a day off, I have a network of talented photographers I’ve worked with over the years that I am lucky to call friends.

  • Well, yes and no. Yes as in there isn’t an hourly limit, but I really don’t think having me when you roll out of bed is a great idea. I’m at my best when I can have coffee in the morning with my wife & son. Plus, I shoot with very high resolution cameras, ask yourself honestly how many high resolution pictures of yourself you want before makeup and coffee? Mmmmhmmm… That being said, I have shot Southeast Asian weddings that start with a sunrise portrait session, for such situations I’m all in. On the rarest of occasions I reserve the right to charge an extra fee for an exceptionally long shooting day, but that’s a rarity.

  • Check out this guide I wrote! Lot’s of good tips here whether you book me or not.

  • Absolutely. As much as I love my second shooters and absolute ragers, I love equally small weddings where I get to shoot as the only camera there. Shooting alone gives me full ability to move around without bumping into my second shooter or a team of videographers. I have a 7 hour solo package for $3200.

  • Absolutely. I can’t say I’ll give up a Saturday in June 2 years in advance for a 2 hour booking, but please reach out about this. I’m happy to give you a custom quote based on availability and your wedding.

  • Absolutely! Engagement sessions are $600 and man is the sky the limit with those. I love anything funky, anything fun, anything that is special to this specific moment in your life. I don’t have “standard spots” or “standard shots” that I take because I don’t have “standard couples”. We’ll chat more in depth about this if you’d like and you can read more about my approach here!

  • No, that’s not something I dabble with - There are tons of great photographers who specialize in this and I can refer you to a friend if you’d like!

  • Oh boy. This question sucks, but it’s one we have to talk about. I’m a reasonable person. If a Covid-19-like event happens and the government forces you to reschedule your wedding, that’s outside of your control, I understand. If a family member falls ill and you want to push the wedding back or move it up so they can attend, I’m here for you. We’ll find a new date, we’ll figure it out. For most rescheduling purposes, it won’t be a big deal. I reserve the right to charge a $500 rescheduling fee if it’s moved to the following calendar year. That being said, I do have a cancellation fee. If you’ve read this far, you’ve figured out that it’s very important to me that you guys trust me with your day and I’ve dedicated my professional life to earning that trust. But trust is a two-way street, and when we enter into a contract you are agree to uphold your end of the bargain and get married on the agreed upon date. If you cancel the wedding within 6 months of the wedding there is a cancelation fee of 35% of the balance. Within 90 days of the wedding, 50% of the balance. Within 30 days, 75% of the balance.

  • Boy has the answer to this question morphed over the last few years. I’ve photographed weddings with bulging discs in my back, torn ligaments in my knee, the stomach flu, the regular flu, and colds and bugs of all sorts. The night before a wedding I eat chicken and rice to avoid any chance of food poisoning. I stay in shape, I take care of my body, and I really focus on staying healthy. I’ve had to miss 3 weddings after getting Covid-19 on 2 separate occasions. Those were not fun phone calls to make, but on those occasions I was lucky enough to call on my friends to jump in and save the day. Each wedding had a different outcome, but everyone lived happily ever after. No pending lawsuits, no missed photos.

  • Absolutely! But I don’t post those for privacy reasons. I have some that people have given express permission to give show them privately. Once we go through the zoom meeting and I decide you’re not a crazy person, I’ll happily share them.

  • No. No taxes, nothing that’s coming after the fact. $4500 is the bottom line.

  • Absolutely! I love welcome dinners! Occasionally I shoot two-wedding weekends, so I may not be available, but if I am, I’ll provide a cost to you! Usually they range around $600-$1000 depending on the time needed, but I’ll give you a custom quote based on your event.

  • Well, that depends. If I can have coffee with my wife and be home in my bed by 2AM, then no. If only one of those things can happen, maybe. Typically that means anything within a 2.5 hour drive of 19973 is fair game. Beyond that, there will be fee. Usually a hotel room and some extra mileage. If it’s a multiple night stay 6 hours away or I need to get on a plane, then yes, expect a travel fee. That being said, I love to travel. I love it even more if I can take my family on a road trip. I’m not looking at the travel fee as a source of revenue, I just can’t lose money on it. There’s a lot of maybes in that paragraph, it’s best to just ask to know for sure.

  • Absolutely! Having your photographs printed is so important. All albums are a-la-carte at the moment and you read more here about that.
